things you may want to know before you get here

parking

First Baptist Church of Harrison is surrounded by easily accessible parking spaces. Spaces for guests are reserved on the middle lot, easily accessible to the main entry.

Where to Go

As you enter the building, one of the first things you’ll notice is our Welcome Desk. Our friendly folks at the desk will answer any questions you may have and direct you where you need to go.

What about kids?

Our Children are provided with age appropriate worship services, Bible studies, discipleship training, music and arts opportunities and recreation. They get to fellowship with their peers and have fun.

Nursery / Preschool

Our younger children participate in Bible lessons on Sunday mornings and continue with an extended session through the Sunday morning worship.

Students

Our Jr. and Sr. High students have their own area to hang out before they break into small groups for Sunday morning Bible study, Wednesday night activities, and various other events scheduled throughout the year.

what to wear

No matter what your personal style, you’ll be comfortable at First Baptist of Harrison. If you prefer dressy, business, or casual attire, chances are there will be others dressed much like you no matter when you visit. Sure, Sunday mornings are a time some prefer to dress up a bit, but even if jeans are more your style, you’ll be right at home with us.

Preschoolers and children learn while they play. We encourage hands on play so that children are learning through all their senses. Painting and other “messy” activities are also encouraged, so use your own judgment about how dressed up your child is while at church.

after the service

The pastor would love to meet you! Pastor Rob is available in the foyer after worship every Sunday morning to personally greet our guests. We ask that you take a moment to stop and say hello.
We also request that on your visit you take the time to fill out the Guest Registration Form so we can contact you by letter or by email if you prefer.

If you would like a more in-depth visit with the Pastor, please call the church office to set up a time for a personal visit or phone call. The church office is available Monday – Thursday from 8:30AM – 4:30PM. and Friday from 8:30AM to noon.
