Jeff & Becky Brasel

Jeff and Becky lead our GAP (Graduates and Professionals) class. The pair are Liberty University and North Arkansas College graduates. They have been working with Northark students for more than 30 years. Jeff is the general manager, managing editor and sports editor of the Harrison Daily Times and Newton County Times. Becky is a retired educator and presently the public relations director of The Learning Centers of North Arkansas. The Brasels serve as leaders of the Baptist Collegiate Ministries of North Arkansas College.

Michael & Kelsey Bardwell

Michael and Kelsey Bardwell have been married for over 22 years. They have 4 kids ranging from ages 9 to 21. Michael grew up in Honduras as a Missionary’s Kid and Kelsey grew up here in Harrison. When they’re not working or at a Harrison Goblin event, they enjoy traveling. They have been serving here at FBCH since 2023.

Troy Rook

Troy grew up in Yellville and is a science teacher at Harrison High School. He is married to Carolyn. They joined FBC in 2004 and have enjoyed serving Jesus at FBC. I have been teaching the “young adults” class since 2021. I have two sons, Bradley and Matthew. I enjoy the outdoors and being on the Buffalo River.

Pat Wheeler

Pat has taught Sunday school for over 50 years, from 1st graders to senior adults. She moved to Harrison with her husband after college and started her family raising two boys there. She loved playing tennis and golf. She loves teaching God’s Word and she believes it is a textbook for daily living now and for eternity.

Ron Pittman

Ron has been a member of First Baptist Church since 1995. He joined FBCH staff in 2010. He is married to Joyce and they have four children, 11 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren they enjoy spending time with.

Larry Hodnett

Larry has been a member of FBCH since 1973.  He is married to Kay and they have two grown sons Scott and Tim. They love spending time with their kids and grandkids.

Jeanie Campbell

Jeannie grew up in Ohio and moved to the Ozarks in 1974.  She is a retired foreign language teacher who has been a member of FBC since 2005.  On a trip to Israel, she was baptized in the River Jordan.  Jeannie teaches the senior adult ladies' SS Class and is married to Tut Campbell, the lead guitar player in our church praise band.

Dale Garner

Dale joined First Baptist Church Harrison in February 2011.  He is married to Janice. They have four children, five grandchildren, and five great grandchildren. Since joining FBCH he has been active in many areas, including: deacon, missions, teaching, and disaster relief.


Paul McDaniel



Darren Huff

Darren and his family have lived in Saint Joe for 5 years.  He grew up in Michigan and graduated from Central Michigan University.  He worked as an analytical chemist for 30 years and has worked the last few years from home as a consultant for an agricultural company.  He is married to Jody Huff, and he has two daughters, Emelia and Rachael.  Darren loves to spend time with his family, gardening, studying Scripture and church history, playing games, and spending time with friends.  He has been teaching for several years, including several books of the Bible and the Answers in Genesis curriculum.
