Worship ministry
Singing songs in church has become known as worship. And believe me, we LOVE to do that here at FBCH, but the word "worship" mean so much more. The Bible tells us to "worship the Lord our God", and to "offer our bodies as living sacrifices...this is our spiritual act of worship". Our goal in the worship ministry is to practice what we preach and worship all week long with how we act, think, pray, read the Bible, and love people. And on Sunday mornings, come together in service of each other to create awesome praise and worship music that augments and encourages what God has been doing in our lives and what He wants to do. Our team members serve in many facets from vocalists, to instrumentalists, to technical crews, and we all work together for the goal of spreading the Good News of the great things God has done. We also have choir rehearsal on Sunday afternoons from 4:30-5:30pm if you want to come hang out with us!
